Double Barrel over-under flintlock pistol circa 1750. This beautifully engraved colonial flintlock pistol features rotating double barrels with separate pans, dual tone finish on metal furniture, and engraved metal butt plate and grip.
The operator would fire the first shot, rotate the barrels and fire the second shot. While other people made multiple barrel pistols, it is rare to find such a feature in a peresentation piece with ornate carvings and simulated ivory butt.
